Such a great price!

I am 38 years old and new to playing. I bought this guitar because I also want to take lessons and Care2Rock provides that on their site. I tuned the guitar out of the box - it took me a minute to figure out but not too hard. I think this is a good solid purchase for a beginner guitar and I personally like the look/feel of the cutaway style. I'll update later after I start playing as to how the strings hold up . . .

I purchased this guitar from Care2Rock as a gift for my niece's birthday. I play on occasion and she is just starting out, but I know she wants guitar lessons and Care2Rock provides one lesson with this purchase so I figured was worth trying for her. This is a very pretty guitar right out of the box - it has a very glossy finish and is kind of a honey -amber color. The size seems great for a beginner because although it's full size, the cutaway makes it easier to handle than some full size shapes - the cutaway also makes playing higher up the neck easier for beginners as well. This guitar has a bright sound and good tone - once tuned - than some other designs I'm familiar with for beginners. I think this is a very nice looking guitar and more than suitable for beginners to intermediate players. (I would give 5 stars but the bag it came in is pretty average). Still, I would purchase this guitar again because overall, it is a solid good looking guitar - sounds great - and comes with a lesson, tuner picks and strap. All things considered a very good deal in my book!
