I feel passionate about passing on the love of music to my students. I am able to teach a variety of different genres including popular music, classical music, bluegrass fiddle and Irish/Celtic. I customize my lesson plan to align with your goals!:) I also love teaching and working with children, as I come from a large family of 6 siblings.

I believe music is healing and it should always be a fun/uplifting experience! I strive to make the lessons very fun/enjoyable, while also encouraging/building upon your strengths/weak spots, so you can reach your goals! I typically start students out with “The Suzuki Method.” It provides a very solid foundation to build upon. This is a great starting spot to help you get familiar with the instrument, if you are just starting out! I also focus on developing your ear, incorporating ear training exercises/games into the lesson, as well as teaching you how to read music. Whether you are interested in learning popular music, bluegrass music, Celtic, classical, or whatever genre to may be – I will help you reach your goals…AND  have a lot of fun while doing it!! 🙂

I’ve been teaching violin professionally for a little over 6 years now. I have experience teaching very both kids/adults alike. You are never too old or young to begin learning new things! :)I’m currently the violin/banjo player in the band, Paper Dolls (https://paperdolls.band/) We have toured the US playing Americana music. The band was nominated for the AMG Heritage award “New Artist Of The Year” and selected as one of the top 10 bands to showcase at the International Bluegrass Music Association. We are also winners of the Jeff and Sheri Easter Talent Competition, IBMA Momentum Vocalist of The Year Nominee, Four-time Georgia-South Carolina State Talent Competition winners, 2nd place Georgia State Fiddle Champion and placed 3rd in the Atkins & Loudermilk Band Competition.

I play in a band with my siblings! 🙂
